Meditation is good for youMeditation is mind training, a toolbox that includes meditation practices devised to lead us to healthy mental habits, and foster well-being.

Meditation practice holds three branches, these we practice in tandem, aided by the wisdom of ancient Buddhist philosophy.

The combined effort is aimed at freeing our mind.  

The practice of mindfulness (Shamatha) serves as a basis for fostering concentration and attention, among its benefits well-being, and less anxiety.

Contemplation meditations, help us to develop resistance to the landslide of thoughts that permeate our mind and encourage us to take some distance.

Vipassana (Insight) meditations invite us to explore, make sense, and increase mental qualities that better our relationships with others.

Meditation is for you and you too?

Anyone can practice meditation, anyone can train the mind, and everyone deserves to be free of its chains, experience freedom and contentment.

Why invest time in meditation practice? Because we don’t control our mind.

Namely, our mind affects what we perceive, think, feel, say and do.

Life experiences are tainted by our mind, we and our environment suffers the consequences.

If we’re discontent everyone suffers, this isn’t the right way to live.

Mind training offers a well-established method, one that helps turn to alternatives, equips us with tools that are always available.

All serve to maintain the best state of mind.

You are not alone, look around you, we all want the same, happiness.

Everyone strives for happiness in one way or another; meditation practice proposes we start through inner change.

Mindfulness∼ the right fit for every individual

We believe that one should be able to choose the training structure that makes life easier.

At Wisdom & Mindfulness, we know that a person can cultivate happiness through countless avenues.

You are encouraged to try-out meditation practice, and check for yourself whether or not it’s a good fit for you.
