Love, Break it to Make it ~ Meditation workshop

Love, Break it to Make it ~ Meditation workshops

Not just a lovely word

“Love” What is it? What do I want from it? How do we reach it? How do we preserve it?

Every person has a very personal definition of love, and if we take it apart, we find within all of the experiences we have had with it.

In the workshop we will set to discover the world of concepts of love itself, we will explore our expectations and discover one’s inherent beliefs about love.

We will look at how these impact on our relationships on the personal level.

We will identify the obstacles that prevent us to experience love and train ourselves to alternatives.

Who does not want love?

Everyone longs for true connections, whether it is with a spouse, family members, friends, and even with one’s occupation.

There is no area of human life where one that does not seeks to experience a degree of love, of satisfaction and a sense of belonging.

How does love affect you? How does it affect your thoughts? How about your actions?

Thoughts that tell of lack, of loneliness, of the absence of desire, and real connection are prominent signs of lack.

A central component perceived as missing in the life of a person who wants to know happiness.

It all start with the relationship with yourself

How will you know true love if you do not have that love for yourself? To learn to receive, we first need to learn to give.

It all starts with the most important person, and that is you!

In the workshop, we will learn the wisdom of love, discover the patterns that determine the nature of our relationships, examine whether they are productive.

We will come to know the gap between our perceptions and expectations of ourselves and others, and how these affect the cultivation of a real relationship.

We will discuss the role of the mind, as control center, responsible for mediating our relationships (The brain in love – Helen Fisher).

Meditation practice ∼ learning to give and to receive

In the workshop, we will practice various meditations, all in order to cultivate compassion, joy, and a deep understanding of our relationship with ourselves and the world.

We will discover how Mindfulness contributes to the management of healthy relationships; in the mediating of tense situations, and as an available source of clarity.

In group sharing, we will try to learn from each other, together we will bring ourselves to conscious maturity with respect to our relationships.

Join-us on a journey that uncovers the heart, one of true connection and an endless source of strength and growth.
