General

The Privacy Policy on the Wisdom & Mindfulness Center website, Business ID 318009560 (hereinafter: “wisdommind.net” and “Wisdom & Mindfulness”, respectively).

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to clarify and explain the privacy policy regarding the use of the Site and the use of information provided to Wisdom & Mindfulness by users of the Site or collected by Wisdom & Mindfulness as part of the use of the Site.

The policy does not apply to information that clearly deviates from the operation of the policy, including within the terms of use of the site, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Please read this Privacy Policy Annex and the Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”) prior to using the Site and before providing personal data (such as name, telephone, email, etc.) to Wisdom & Mindfulness through the Site (including the Site blog). This document is part of the site’s regulations and should be read together.

Use of the Site is contingent on your agreement of this Policy and the Terms of Use. By using and viewing the Site and/or providing details within its framework, the User acknowledges that he has read these terms and agrees to the contents thereof.

Wisdom & Mindfulness may, at its sole discretion, change from time to time the provisions of this document and/or the Bylaws and/or any other document that replaces them or in addition to them for regulating the terms of use of the Site. Users are encouraged to access this page from time to time to read its updated terms.

The contents of this document are written in the masculine form for reasons of convenience only, and all that is stated therein is intended for both men and women. In addition, all that is stated in the singular form, should be read as if it were meant in the plural form, as the case may be and vice versa.

The headings in this document are not binding and are intended for the users’ convenience only.

“Wisdom & Mindfulness” or “the Center” refers to Wisdom & Mindfulness and anyone on behalf of the Center (including the operators and administrators of the Site).

Data Collection

Wisdom & Mindfulness may collect and store Data pertaining to the users and visitors of the site that was provided by them or collected by the Center as a result and/or in connection with their use of the site. This information consists of two types:

“Active information” – information (such as name, email, phone, etc.) that is provided by the user for various purposes (such as requesting more information about the services, requesting to contact Wisdom & Mindfulness, requesting to sign-up etc.). In this regard, we state that viewing and using the site, its various contents and/or services and/or use of the site may require registration, including to the Wisdom & Mindfulness blog, in which the user may be asked to provide personal information (lest Wisdom & Mindfulness decides otherwise). It is hereby clarified that users are not obligated (by law or otherwise) to provide such details or any other details to the Center, but failure to provide these may limit the use of the Site.

“Passive information” – information collected without being actively communicated by users (such as: the type of browser used by the surfer, the user’s IP address, sites and user preferences, etc.). In this regard, it is clarified that the site may include and/or make use of various programs and/or monitoring software and/or monitoring systems such as cookies. These programs and applications enable the collection of information about users (such as information about their personal preferences), inter alia, for the proper operation of the site, adapting the site to the user’s personal preferences, improving the service to users, improving the Center’s services. Occasionally the activation of this software and applications is subject to the user’s approval, but it is clarified that not all cases require such approval, and it is noted that sometimes the use of the above software can be blocked (or deleted from the user’s computer hard disk, if stored there) via the Internet browser, nevertheless the Center is not responsible for and/or controls the above and the user who wishes to do so should check the option in accordance to the browser he uses. In any case, keep in mind that deleting cookies or stopping them may prevent or restrict access to the site and/or parts thereof.

Wisdom & Mindfulness may collect and keep any such information (both active and passive) in any fashion and manner and for any period of its choice, at its sole discretion. It is hereby clarified that Wisdom & Mindfulness may collect both personal and non-personal information, inter alia, for the upgrading of the Site, the services it provides, etc. It is also clarified that Wisdom & Mindfulness may include the information collected as aforesaid in the database in its possession.

It is emphasized that providing information is dependent on your consent and demands and you are under no obligation (legal or otherwise) to provide information on your behalf and you may choose not fill in the fields intended for such information and/or part thereof (including Wisdom & Mindfulness blog).

Delivering updates and promotional information

By filling in information or any other content through the Site by the User, the User authorizes Wisdom & Mindfulness to use such information and keep it in the database managed by Wisdom & Mindfulness (the “Database”) and acknowledges that Wisdom & Mindfulness may use the said information for trailing (Including by mail, telephone, fax, e-mail, short text messages including MMS, SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger etc.) of all information regarding Wisdom & Mindfulness, its services, updates about the Center Etc., and any other use permitted by law, all without the use being deemed to be an infringement of the privacy of the user and will not entitle the user to any reparation and/or compensation and/or any indemnity what so ever.

The User may revoke this consent at any time by giving written notice thereof to Wisdom & Mindfulness via info@wisdommind.net and Wisdom & Mindfulness shall act in accordance with the User Notice within 7 business days of receipt of such notice. It is hereby clarified that as long as Wisdom & Mindfulness has not received a request for removal from the database and/or mailing as stated, Wisdom & Mindfulness does not check the recency nor accuracy of the information provided by the user and/or the relevance of any advertising material to the user and will be allowed to use the information gathered at its discretion, as mentioned herein above.

Transfer of information to third parties

The information provided to us by the users and/or collected within the Site and/or from the use of the site will be collected in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law – 1981, regulations and bylaws. Such information will be stored in Wisdom & Mindfulness database, at its discretion, and will not be transferred to third parties other than business partners and/or entities that provide Wisdom & Mindfulness, or anyone on its behalf, services.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Wisdom & Mindfulness may transfer to any third party information provided to it by users or gathered by it in the framework and/or as a result of the use of the Site, including personal information, without obtaining the consent of the user in the following cases:

If Wisdom & Mindfulness believes that the disclosure of information is necessary to prevent damage to the User or to third parties.

If delivery of the information is required by law and/or a judicial order and/or instruction of any competent authority.

If a user violates the terms of use of the Wisdom & Mindfulness site or performs any prohibited activity (including attempting to perform such actions).

If there exists a contention and/or legal dispute between Wisdom & Mindfulness and/or the user of the site and for the use of other legal proceedings in which Wisdom & Mindfulness is involved, in accordance with the needs and at the discretion of Wisdom & Mindfulness.

If Wisdom & Mindfulness merges with other parties, sells its activity, changes its ownership, transfers its activity (in whole or in part) to any third party, etc. – In this case, Wisdom & Mindfulness may transfer the information collected about the users and any other material in its possession, to that party.

Server

The hosting server may be located outside Israeli borders. The Center will collect, process and use User information solely in accordance with this privacy notice.

Reviewing Information

Every user is entitled to contact the Center for the purpose of reviewing the information, stored in the Wisdom & Mindfulness database, pertaining to him/herself. In addition, the user is entitled to request a change and/or correction and/or deletion of the information related to him, stored in the database, all in accordance with the provisions of the law. It should be noted that despite the aforementioned, the Center may keep in its database information regarding the user which was collected independently and/or which does not serve the purpose of contacting the user (such as information necessary for the Center or facilitating its activities), all in accordance with and subject to the provisions of the law.

Data Security

This site implements systems and procedures to secure the information stored, in order to reduce undesirable hacking. However, it is clarified that the actions undertaken to secure information do not provide absolute protection. In light of the above, Wisdom & Mindfulness does not warrant that the information and all that is contained within the Site and the services provided therein, are impervious to unauthorized access and cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not gain access to information provided and/or collected with respect to users. Therefore, we advise users to exercise caution when providing information via the Internet in general, and prior to providing such information to the site, advise you to consider the risks involved in transmitting such information.

Third party sites

The site may contain links to sites operated by third parties that are not under our control or responsibility and the user should be aware that the sites do not apply this privacy policy notice and should check the policy applicable to them.

Users under the age of 18

Wisdom & Mindfulness attaches great importance to protecting the privacy of minors (under the age of 18) and does not knowingly collect or use their personal information on the site. Minors who use the site are obligated to report that they are minors to Wisdom & Mindfulness and to present to the Center’s representative a power of attorney of a parent/guardian prior to providing information on their behalf. In any event, if a user is made aware that information pertaining to a minor was provided via the site, he is invited to contact the Center for the purpose of deleting this information.

Law and judicial authority

The law that applies to and in connection with this Privacy Policy and the use of the Site is solely the Israeli law (whether the site is used in Israel or abroad).

The exclusive jurisdiction in connection with this Privacy Policy and the use of the Site is vested in the authorized court in Tel Aviv – Jaffa only.
