The practice is divided in three parts, to each part a goal, the first to be discussed today serves as a basis for practicing meditation, mindfulness.
Mindfulness, a practice that works concentration and tranquility…
Mindfulness what is it? It is the ability to be present, to perceive whatever is happening outside yourself and be aware of how it affects you within without judgment.

Why is Mindfulness so appealing?
Because it works and does not require much time

More importantly, we are less prone to stress and nervousness.
Mindfulness makes us more effective, we are more available to listen, and teamwork becomes more harmonious.
Thanks to the plasticity of the mind, we change the wiring, turn away from our fear center and become more creative.
Meditation what is it? A tool for teachers and students
The combination of Mindfulness and meditation practice does not stop at the workplace, and is not only for adults…
Mindfulness supports teaching and learning. Improvements in emotional regulation, focus, and communication are among the most important benefits of integrating the method in the classrooms.
In the United States, classes in which Mindfulness practice was introduced, as part as the educational program, showed a decrease in terms of violence and suspension, and a rise of the students overall satisfaction.

The Teachers’ Union also offers a meditation certification program for teacher, led by Wingate Academic College.
How do we begin?
What is meditation teaching us? first, we learn to take a break, to collect ourselves, to slow down.
How do we do that? by focusing on the ascending and descending sequence of breathing.
If you are still wondering, Mindfulness does require us to exert effort, this should be pleasant.
Remember, there is no expectation to stop the sequence of thoughts.
It only asks, that we allow ourselves some space to “relax” and return to our center.
As with any training program, just as with any change in diet, the key is perseverance and right guidance.
